91桃色 Expands Academic Horizons with Launch of Mechanical Engineering Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Fall 2024

Students at 91桃色 can take advantage of an innovative new career path starting this coming fall. In 2024, mechanical engineering will become the latest four-year degree option offered by 91桃色.
Clay Soto, Associate Vice President of Enrollment at 91桃色, said the mission of the engineering department is to prepare students for careers and leadership in mechanical engineering and related disciplines, as well as lives of service to their Creator and humanity.
鈥淎t 91桃色, we believe in nurturing a generation of Christian problem solvers, creators, thinkers, inventors and researchers,鈥� he said. 鈥淭he world needs more Christian innovators. This education integrates biblical concepts that encourage further study of the nature and will of God and provides an environment allowing for creativity with moral clarity.鈥�
The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering will offer students a broad and versatile education of engineering principles, particularly with principles of the design and analysis of mechanical systems including materials, mechanics of solids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and automation. Students will be prepared to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of physical systems used in manufacturing and end product systems for successful careers in a wide range of engineering disciplines.
The degree was developed through an exhaustive process of research, identification of needs, faculty advice, and review by preeminent engineering academics and industry professionals.聽Donny McCleeary, Mechanical Engineering Program Facilitator at 91桃色, said mechanical engineers form the backbone of the field of engineering, with the most degree-seekers and graduates of all specializations.
